To me the main reason for hiring a DJ is to keep the crowd informed and entertained. That is what we will do from the beginning to the end of the evening.

With that being said there are a lot of things to take into consideration when hiring a DJ.

Experience

All of my DJ’s know there is a zero cheese policy! We are DJ’s not comedians. All of my DJ’s are very professional and have no less than 3 yrs of experience. This is a job and we take it very seriously, but we also know how to have fun with it as well. We do more than just sit there and play music. Our job is to keep the crowd entertained and let them know when the next event will take place.. Example: We will be cutting the cake in 10 mins.

Music

We have a large legitimate computerized library. Myself and my other DJ’s have spent many hours converting cd libraries to digital hard drives. We also use a couple different music companies to ensure we have the latest and greatest hits. If we don’t have you songs we will get them via Amazon.com or Itunes which is included in the price.

Also as an added peace of mind the music is edited/clean so you don’t have to worry about any F bombs at your wedding. We also carry unedited music as well, just in case.

Lightning

We use an array of different lights – Lasers, Floor Sweepers, and Lights to cover the ceiling as well. Every package comes with a light show. However if you click “like” us on facebook then you will receive a free premium light show upgrade.

Availability

We treat you like a person not a number. We keep all lines of communication open. You can always call, email, text and you will get a speedy response.

Equipment

We use brand names you know and trust such as Mackie, American Audio, Shure, all top of the line professional DJ equipment. One less thing you have to worry about.

Planning

Very important that we are all on the same page. You will receive a reception planner form this form is the nuts and bolts of the evening. It’s our timeline manager so to speak. It’s really easy to get caught up talking to old friends and family and before you know it time has slipped away.

DJ Pricing

Honestly it varies on the date, location, and hrs.
Examples ~
Wedding for 4 hrs in Lawrence typically runs around $495 which would include the following – Professional DJ, Quality sound equipment, Wireless microphone, Light show, and both set up and tear down times are also included in the price.
